Cutting Corners: Finding The Best Deals Online

MIAMI (CBS4) ― There are lots of reasons to shop online these days and saving money is just one them.

With that in mind Brad Wilson created Bradsdeals.com where a sharp eyed shopper can get a better deal with just the click of a mouse.

"Bradsdeals.com publishes online deals and online coupon codes and printable coupons for the top one hundred stores," said Wilson.

Wilson told CBS4's 4 Your Money reporter Gwen Belton the site is free and there are more than three thousand active coupons listed daily.

"It's our job to find the best things they're offering each day. Instead of looking at five to ten of your favorite stores, you can come to Bradsdeals.com" said Wilson.

Wilson estimates that shoppers can save up to 30 percent by shopping online.

Jennifer Henry, a working mother of two, says she's all about saving money for her family and admits to doing most of her shopping online.

"Try to take a three year old to the mall," said Henry.

One of her favorite online coupon sites is dealtaker.com. Jennifer saved 50 percent on a Battleship game for her son and 60 percent on a pair of jeans for herself.

"Big savings is the biggest thing, just this week I ordered some Reef sandals and it was 70 percent off" said Henry.

Shoppers who aren't comfortable making purchases online can always just print up the coupons and use them at participating stores.

"I always tell people to shop online; it's usually a little cheaper and a little easier," said Wilson.

Wilson said In this tough economy he's found more and more people are taking advantage of the convenience of online shopping and getting some unbelievable deals with the click of a mouse.
