Prim Siripipat's Video LibraryPrim Siripipat joins Jim Berry and Kim Bokamper as the newest member of the CBS4 Sports Team. She arrived from News 14 in North Carolina where she began as a producer in June 2004 and later became a producer/sports reporter in 2005.
Prim began playing tennis when she was seven years old and later moved to Florida to pursue a career in tennis. She trained with players such as Jennifer Capriati, Martina Hingis and Andy Roddick and then earned a full scholarship to play at Duke University.
While in college, her tennis team won National Indoors her senior year and was ranked #1 for the first time in Duke's history.
During that time off, she had the opportunity to work in marketing with the Philadelphia Eagles. There she had the chance to work with such high profile players as Donovan McNabb, Hugh Douglas and Freddie Mitchell.
Later in her college career, she decided to pursue a career in television. She worked at WRAL-TV where she took a job on the assignment desk. She tried out for ESPN's Dream Job in July 2004 where she made it past the second round. She then became one of two people from North Carolina to reach the semi-finals in New York City. Prim eventually made it to the finals as one of 30 people vying for the top ten spots.
Prim's hobbies include a love for sports (especially football) and being active. That includes playing tennis, lifting weights and spinning. During her time off, she enjoys relaxing with her family and friends. She also plays piano, clarinet and saxophone.
