Adrienne Roark
joined WFOR-TV in January 2007 as the Assistant News Director.  She was promoted to News Director the following June.  
 
Roark arrived at WFOR from WESH in Orlando where she was Assistant News Director. Previously, she worked at WTVJ in Miami as an Executive Producer.
 
She has also worked in Cleveland at WKYC as an Executive Producer of Special Projects and Investigations. Prior to that, she worked in Columbus, Ohio as an Executive Producer, a Special Projects Producer, news producer, and editor.
 
In 2008, Adrienne Roark was named a Poynter Ethics Fellow for the Class of 2008.  The Poynter Institute, a nationally respected school for journalists, named Roark as one of eighteen members of the 2008 class, a diverse group of hard-working journalists from print, broadcast and online.  
 
She's a two time Emmy winner, and just recently won a Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting.
 
An Ohio native, Roark started in the television news business as an intern at WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio.  She graduated from The Ohio State University and is a huge Buckeye fan. Adrienne and her husband enjoy living in Miami, with their two young, energetic sons, Alex and Stephen.
