Biden To Rally Support In Tampa, Lakeland

Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden will rally support in the the state this week with planned stops in Tampa and Lakeland.
During an appearance at Lake Mirror Park amphitheater in Lakeland on Tuesday, campaign officials say Biden will focus on the economy. The following day he will speak at the University of South Florida's Sun Dome in Tampa.
With less than a month before the election, Biden and running mate Barack Obama have been climbing in the polls. Republicans John McCain and Sarah Palin have campaigned heavily in Florida, a critical battleground state with 27 electoral votes up for grabs. Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate, is scheduled to hold a large rally in Pensacola on Tuesday.
