Sweetwater Votes To Install Red Light Runner Cams

The City of Sweetwater is jumping on the "cameras to red light runners" bandwagon.

The city has decided to install at least 6 cameras throughout the city to catch speeders and drivers who run red lights at intersections.

While the city has not decided which intersections will get the cameras, West Flagler Street and Southwest 107th Avenue has been mentioned as a possible location along with Southwest Eighth Street and 109th Avenue.

It's The Last Dance for Cafe Tu Tu Tango

Time is running out if you want to have one last meal at a popular Coconut Grove hot spot – Café Tu Tu Tango will be closing in less than a month.

The restaurant on Grand Avenue has anchored CocoWalk since 1991. But in the last few years the restaurant's owners say business has been declining at the Café and other businesses in the plaza.

The restaurant has a lease until the year 2016 and still owes rent from last fall.

PMAT Real Estate Investment, which bought CocoWalk in 2006 for $87 million, said even though the restaurant will be closing several new businesses will be opening their doors this year – including a Muvico, a Starbucks and a Chili's.
