CBS4 Your Money: Consumer Confidence Falls

UNDATED (CBS4) ― CBS4 Your Money on Friday reports the Reuters/University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey for the middle of April saw the overall index decrease to 63.2 from 69.5 in March, with high food and fuel prices to blame. The index was last that low in 1982.

                                            CONSUMER CONFIDENCE

Consumer confidence levels plunged as of the middle of April to a 26-year low, with both the one- and five year inflation outlooks also deteriorating.

                                            TAX TIME

Taxpayers across the nation have until  April 15, 2008, to file their 2007 returns.
