Starbucks Closing 5 S. Florida Locations

SEATTLE (CBS4) ― Starbucks has already announced its closing 600 stores across the country and now they've released a list of which locations will be shutting down.

In South Florida, there are 5 locations being closed in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

The Miami-Dade locations include Southwest 160th St. and U.S. 1 in Miami and another at 750 NE 125th St. in North Miami.

The Broward locations include 1100 W. Broward Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale, the Lakes Mall on State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes and at the Coral Square Mall on Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach.

The Seattle-based coffee chain says it's been hit hard by the economic slowdown.

The locations being shutdown are expected to close by the end of July.
