33 Migrants Arrive On Soldier Key
SOLDIER KEY (CBS4) ―
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a call of 33 rafters, possibly Cuban, arriving at Soldier Key Monday night.
According to fire officials, 18 males, 10 females and five children arrived. One of them might be suffering from dehydration. Rescuers transported them to Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne where they will be turned over to authorities.
Coast Guard was not involved in the incident.
