Fidel Castro's Health Described As "Very Dynamic"

HAVANA, Cuba (CBS4) ― Fidel Castro looks stronger and wonderful for his age, according to the head of the World Health Organization. Margaret Chan reportedly met with Castro for over two hours and found him to be "very dynamic."

Chan is director-general of the WHO and is also a physician, but stressed that she is not offering a medical opinion on Castro's well-being. "I'm younger than him and I felt tired when he wasn't," Chan told the Associated Press.

Castro has been out of the public view since having a series of emergency intestinal surgeries in July of 2006. After the surgeries, he gave power to his younger brother Raul, and Fidel remains in a secret location. Fidel is also reportedly stricken with an undisclosed ailment.

Fidel Castro is 83-years-old.
