Ever since Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested, there has been a lot of talk about whether Illinois is the most corrupt state in the country. I know many of us who have covered Florida politics for years recoiled in horror. Could Illinois really be more corrupt than the Sunshine State? Are we truly second fiddle to the politicians from Second City?
Cranes fell, cars crashed and wind surfers went flying in Tropical Storm Fay. All in all, it was another strange and wondrous year in South Florida.
