Dolphins Draft Quarterback in Second Round

Michigan's Henne Heading To Fins

NEW YORK, NY (CBS4) ―

The Dolphins turned their attention back to the offense with their second pickĀ of the second round number 57 overall. Miami drafted Michigan quarterback Chad Henne a teammate of the fins number one pick Jake Long.

Henne started all of the 47 games he played at Michigan setting numerous records. He set set the Wolverines' career marks with 828 completions of 1,387 pass attempts for 9,715 yards, 87 touchdowns and 37 interceptions. Henne also produced 26 200-yard passing performances, the second-best total in UM history.

As it stands now, the Dolphins have Josh McCown, John Beck, and now Henne to compete for the starting quarterback job for the 2008 season.
