The Miami Dolphins redefined offenses in 2008 by introducing the "Wildcat" offense into the NFL. Now, the Dolphins are going to try and redefine the fan experience with a new handheld device called Dolphins Mobile Vision. The new system will be available to Dolphins premium seat holders in the club and suite levels of Land Shark Stadium.
Dolphins Mobile Vision is a partnership with Kangaroo TV and will let users have access to personalized content including: instant replay, multiple camera angles, field level audio, fantasy team alerts, news and standings, split screen video and stats, call-to-action alerts, video on demand, and video and text message boards.
Fans who have access to Dolphins Mobile Vision will also have access to other NFL content. One device for every two seats in the sections will be provided free of charge.
"We have made a commitment to Dolphins fans that we will constantly strive to enhance their experience at Land Shark Stadium. The roll-out of this exciting new technology is the first of many new ideas that are under consideration to introduce state of the art amenities throughout the stadium over the next several years," said Dolphins Owner and Managing General Partner Stephen M. Ross in a press release.
No timetable was given when this type of system might be available to fans in the rest of the stadium.
