Pablo Montero Misses Hearing In Miami Court
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Mexican singer Pablo Montero did not show up to a Miami court hearing to check on his drug rehabilitation in Miami on Monday, while his attorney asked the hearing be postponed.
Montero left a Miami jail on the 13th of August under the condition he completes a drug rehabilitation program. Howard Srebnick, his attorney, explained to the judge that Montero could not make it because he had not received permission from Border Patrol to enter the U.S.
Srebnick asked Judge Deborah White that she postpone the hearing until the 10th of November at 11 a.m.
He explained to the judge that as of last Friday, the U.S. Border Patrol had not granted him the permit required to enter when someone has a pending judicial matter in this country.
Montero, who is also well known for his acting work in telenovelas, was arrested in August for violation of probation.
