Robin Williams And Wife To Divorce

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS4) ― Comedian Robin Williams and his wife Marsha have filed for divorce earlier this week in a California court. Producer Marsha Garces Williams, who had been married to the actor for 19 years, filed the petition in San Francisco citing irreconcilable differences.

The pair first met while Williams was still married to his first wife Valerie Velardi, and Marsha was working as the couple's nanny. They married in 1989, just months after the breakup of his first union.

Robin and Marsha often worked together. She produced his films "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Patch Adams",  and they founded Blue Wolf Productions and the organization "Doctors Without Borders".

They have two children together: daughter Zelda, 18, and 17-year-old son Cody.
