Survivor Micronesia: Fans Vs. Favorites

Premiere: Feb. 7 on CBS4

LOS ANGELES (CBS4) ― It's the wannabe's versus the all-stars on the next installment of the hit CBS reality show "Survivor".

"Survivor Micronesia", which is the 16th installment of the show, comes back with yet another new twist. It's Fans versus Favorites.

Ten all-stars from previous seasons will vie against ten wannabes for the chance to outwit, outplay and outlast each other for the $1 million prize.
Because Survivor already did an all-star season, the new pack of favorites features contestants only going back to season seven.

So who was lucky enough to make the cut?

The Favorites tribe features two from the recently completed 'Survivor: China', gravedigger James Clement and the person who engineered his ouster, Amanda Kimmel.
'Survivor: Pearl Islands' fans will recognize the flirtatious Parvati Shallow, flip-flopping actor-writer Jonathan Penner and challenge dominator Ozzy Lusth.
'Survivor: Fiji' sends its most popular player, 55-year old Yau-Man Chan.
Rounding out the tribe is 'Survivor: Panama's' Cirie Fields, 'Vanuatu's' Eliza Orlins and Ami Cusack, and Survivor's biggest villain ever: 'Pearl Islands' Jon Dalton (a.k.a. Jonny Fairplay), who once famously faked his own grandmother's death to further himself in the game.

As for the fans, the 10 can best be described as fit, white and young, with the candidates including a pageant and gymnastics coach, a personal trainer, a large and in-charge firefighter, a golf course vendor and an aspiring writer-actor.

"Survivor: Micronesia" was shot on many of the same beaches as the Palau season, and will also feature the return of Exile Island, which was absent from "Survivor: China."

The show will premiere Feb. 7th on CBS.
