Vandals Hit Kim Kardashian's SOBE, LA Boutiques

MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) ― A little paint, a little elbow grease and the Kardashian sisters are back in business from coast to coast after vandals target two of their boutiques.

Early Tuesday a South Beach boutique owned by reality star Kim Kardashian and her sisters was vandalized. On her Web site Kourtney Kardashian said that a store employee discovered the vandalism when she came to work in the morning.

"All in all, the damage is pretty bad, but they're painting over it now!" she wrote.

Miami Beach Police said a section of the front window of the store, Dash Miami, was scratched and the letters "GUK" were painted in black on the window frame.

The store on Washington Avenue at 8th Street will have its grand opening Wednesday night. It will also be featured in a new reality show featuring sisters Khloe and Kourtney which will begin airing in August 2009.

Kardashian wrote on her website that it didn't appear the graffiti was targeting her or her sisters Kim and Khloe.

Less than 24 hours later Khloe Kardashian had a different story to tell when she posted on her blog that their store in Los Angeles had been vandalized.

"The one yesterday seemed obviously gang-related and had nothing to do with us...today the one in Calabasas was most likely intentional since people know it is our store. This morning when my mom went to open the store, she found that it had been graffitied with more or less the same stuff that the Miami store had," she wrote.

Khloe said among the graffiti scrawled over the LA Dash store was the message 'We Love U Kim'. She said police were going over recordings from the store's security cameras to see if they can identify the person or persons responsible.
