Forbes Names Oprah Most Powerful Celebrity, Again
Oprah Named World's Most Powerful Celebrity For 2nd Straight Year
Winfrey Made $275 Million
NEW YORK (CBS4) ―
Talk show host Oprah Winfrey is on a roll, a bankroll. The queen of talk remains at the top of Forbes' Annual Celebrity 100 Power List, which is based on earnings and fame.
According to the list, Winfrey earned $275 million before taxes in the past year, and is still one of the world's most famous faces.
Golfer Tiger Woods remained in the number two spot. He earned $115 million, on and off the links.
Actress Angelina Jolie comes in at number three. She earned a comparatively low $14 million dollars, but her fame and popularity is unrivaled and her constant presence in magazines moved her up the list.
Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt, also made the list at number 10.
They are not the only power couple to rank high. Music moguls Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were fourth and seventh.
