"I'm embarrassed," she writes. "I can't believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I'm still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, `How did I let this happen again?"'

If you've fallen off the "weight control" wagon like Oprah Winfrey has, she's going to show you how to get right back on. Beginning this week, Oprah kicks off the New Year with a campaign to help all of us live our best lives.
Each day she will tackle a new topic with a leading expert and Monday, she focuses on weight. Oprah will talk about the weight she's gained recently. She's invited Bob Greene, her dieting mentor, to talk about how to get back on track in 2009. There will be plenty of diet and workout tips plus learn how important it is to make time for you.
The week-long series is called Oprah's Best Life Week. She'll also provide information on health, spirituality, finances and sexual relationships.
On Tuesday, January 6th, Dr. Mehmet Oz discusses what is called the "Ultimate Health Checklist for 2009."
On Wednesday, January 7th, Oprah takes on the topic of spirituality and how to find deeper meaning in your everyday life.
On Thursday, January 8th, financial expert Suze Orman talks about how to eliminate credit card debt; how to save money; and the rules for retirement.
On Friday, January 9th, it's all about relationships, intimacy and sex with Dr. Laura Berman.
Winfrey also is expected to discuss her weight on her XM satellite radio station's "The Gayle King Show" on Jan. 5 and will host interactive live Web casts at Oprah.com the week of Jan. 12 to 16 every night at 9 p.m.
