The "Coolest" Theater Experience In So. Florida

Variety Magazine Wrote "Snowshow Is To Clowning What Cirque du Soleil Is To Circus"

MIAMI (CBS4) ―

There is a snowstorm in South Florida, which is sure to thrill all those who venture out in it. Actually, the storm is really a "Snowshow" created by a master Russian clown, Slava Poulin.

It's described as a cross between theatrical performances by Cirque du Soleil and The Blue Man Group.

Slava's "Snowshow"  is considered pure magic.  The show is the creation of  the master clown himself who has dedicated his life to the art of being a clown and mime artist.

CBS4 Entertainment Reporter Lisa Petrillo
spoke to him via an interpreter, of course.

The show is full of vibrant images - charming clowns-- including Slava's own son.  There's music, comedy, some poignant moments, and, of course, snow - a blizzard.

It premiered in 1993, and it has delighted audiences in more than 25 countries around the world.

It will be "snowing" at the Adrienne Arsht Center through August 17th in downtown Miami.
