LOS ANGELES (CBS4) ―
"Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" brings actor Harrison Ford back to the big screen in one of his most famous roles.
The film is set in 1957 and thrusts Indiana Jones back into action as he ventures into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents, led by Spalko, (Cate Blanchett) to find the mystical Crystal Skull.
Indy is joined on his latest adventure by his former lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) as well as Mutt (Shia LaBeouf) and fellow archaeologist Mac (Ray Winstone).
This is the fourth film in the highly successful Indiana Jones series..
The film was directed by Steven Spielberg and executive produced by George Lucas.
Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opens May 22nd, 2008.
This film is rated PG-13.
