MIAMI (CBS4) ― If you're hungry for a good meal but don't want to spend a fortune, CBS4'S Lisa Petrillo can help with another of her "Cheap Eats" reports. Lisa has put her taste buds to the test once again, in order to find some of South Florida's best restaurants with delicious meals under ten dollars.

This time, she began her search at "Mari-Nalli", soon be renamed "I.Q." or "International Quesadilla Company" which is located on the second floor of Cocowalk in Coconut Grove. Owner Eduardo Durazo says the secret to his mouth watering gourmet quesadillas, which are also quick and delicious, is the fresh ingredients.

"You'll see spices from all over the world. We know how to combine incredible flavors, put them together in a quesadilla and you're eating food from a fine dining restaurant in a fast food format," said Durazo.

The food also comes with fast food prices because most orders are under $5.00.

One of Lisa's favorite quesadillas is made with whole wheat tortillas, portobello mushrooms, gorgonzola and mozzarella cheeses, a blend of fresh vegetables with olive oil, garlic, sundried tomatoes, fresh basil and more.

The quesadillas are brushed with a bit of oil and baked for just one minute in a turbo convection oven at 950 degrees.

From Mexican flavors to French cuisine, Lisa's next stop is La Rotisserie, a family style bistro located right in the middle of Surfside at 9487 Harding Avenue. Owner Sabah Gouty and her husband, Patrice, personally meet and greet guests in a warm and friendly environment which is filled with fabulous French food.

"If you look at the menu it's really bistro French. We didn't want to go crazy on gourmet plates. We wanted natural food , fresh food and not expensive."

Menu items include Rotisserie Chicken Provencal served with sliced potatoes cooked in milk and gruyere cheese.
There's also a Chèvre chaud salad made behind the scenes with fresh goat cheese, French bread and fresh lettuce, vegetables and dressing.

Lisa didn't forget about the melt in your mouth cheesy French classic sandwich Croque Monsieur, which is a hot ham and cheese grilled sandwich.

All entrees are under $10.00.

The dessert selection has plenty for your sweet tooth including a delicious apple tart.

La Rotisserie is described as a neighborhood bistro with feel good food that's sure to please even the most sophisticated palate.

Finally, from fabulous French fare to old fashioned American franks, Arbetter's Hot Dogs is a South Dade institution, located at 8747 Bird Road.

The dogs are boiled and steamed and served with a number of sides and come with an old fashioned price tag, about two bucks each. After 6:00 p.m., the dogs drop in price to only $1.00.

Their cheap, their tasty and it's hard to have just one. Arbetter's Hot Dogs is a place you can have more bang for your buck.

Bon Appétit !
