Cooking 4 You: Sushi At Home

MIAMI (CBS4) ― CBS4's Lisa Petrillo has something fishy in store for you this week. It's everyone's favorite oriental dish, sushi. But you don't have to go out and spend a lot of money at a fancy sushi restaurant, you can make it yourself at home with this Cooking 4 You recipe.

Sushi Recipe:
6 to 8 ounces of fish per person
Tuna
Salmon
BBQ Eel
Nori
Sushi Rice (Cooked according to the package instructions)
Cool the rice
Thinly slice the fish
Form the rice into 1 inch logs and top with slices of fish.

For sushi rolls
Place a sheet of nori on a rolling mat and spread a thin layer of rice and cover ¾ of the sheet (put the edge with no rice facing away from you)
Arrange a line of fish at the bottom edge of the nori
Gently roll the nori. When you get to the blank section, smear a bit of the rice up on the nori with your thumb to use as glue
Cut the roll into six pieces and serve
