If you've filled your PlayStation 3 with movies, music and games galore don't despair! A console with a larger hard drive is headed to stores near you, just in time for the holiday season.
Sony will be launching a 250 gigabyte system on November 3, 2009. The hard drive is more than twice as big as the new slimmer, lighter PlayStation 3.
The new console will run $350. In comparison, the slimmer PS3 costs $300 and has a 120 gig hard drive.
Sony hopes the larger system will mean larger profits with the holiday season on the horizon; they see profits skyrocket as holiday gift lists fill up with game and console requests.
