Gas Station Runs Super Sunday Sale

The Super Sunday Promotion Lasts Until Midnight

DORAL (CBS4) ― A South Florida gas station owner is helping take a little of the sting out of the pain at the pump.

As a weekly promotion the owner is reducing the price by 8-cents every Sunday until midnight at his two Shell gas stations in Doral; at 7900 Northwest 36th Street and at Galloway Road and Northwest 58th Street.

On Father's Day, prices dropped from $4.15 a gallon to $4.08, a break drivers were thankful for as they filled up at the cheaper price.

Over the weekend, the average price of a gallon of unleaded in Miami Dade was $4.12, diesel was averaging $4.87 a gallon. In Broward unleaded was averaging $4.11, with diesel hovering near $4.78 a gallon.
