ORLANDO (CBS4) ―
Just in time for the long Memorial Day holiday weekend when many of us hit the road for a quick getaway, gas prices have shot up about a dime on average.
The American Automobile Association's Fuel Gauge report shows gas prices have risen about eleven cents on average in Florida over the last week. Statewide, regular unleaded is averaging $2.42 a gallon as of Sunday, May 24th. The price at the pump is a virtual bargain compared to what it was last year for the Memorial Day weekend; about $3.91 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
