This Fall, Gas Prices Just Keep Falling
DORAL (CBS4) ―

In some places across Florida, gas is being sold for under $2 a gallon!
The price at the pump is finally dipping below the $2.00 mark at many stations across South Florida. For most drivers, it's a much needed relief, just in time for the holidays.
The average car takes about 15 gallons of gas. Prices are down $1.08 from last year. So if you fill up four times a month, CBS4 News estimates you will save about $64.80 each month.
At the Exxel station in Doral, Jorge Urbina smiled as he filled up his SUV. Gas there is just $1.92 a gallon.
"Oh, it's pretty cheap," said Urbina. "And it comes in handy times like this, oh yeah.... especially I have a family. So it does help a lot." Urbina said he plans to buy Christmas gifts with the extra money that he'll save at the pump.
But in a sour economy like this, many others are thinking more about the bottom line and planning to use the extra savings to pay off debt or bills accrued during months of $3.00 and $4.00 gallon gas.
