Coral Springs Pet Spa Uses Green Grooming Products

CORAL SPRINGS (CBS4) ― If you're into being earth friendly and wish your dog could be too, your wish is answered at "Bow Wow" in Coral Springs.

CBS4's Erika Von Tiehl brought her dog Sophie in on Tuesday to see what going green means for man's best friend. Lauren Jackson, owner of the Bow Wow Pet Spa, gave Sophie the special treatment, and a good lather of organic dog shampoo. Jackson switched to organic dog products after she tried them out on her dog and loved the results.

Eliott Bertman brings his dog Coco in every month or so, for a "do." He doesnt mind paying a little more for the all natural bath. Bertman believes his dog will, "have a longer life because of proper treatment."

After Sophie's treatment, she was ready for a trim. And after all of that, she's an earth friendly puppy.

Jackson says although organic prodcuts are more expensive, "for the quality you get out of it, it's worth it."
