Three contestants in the "Subway Get Fit Challenge"

The Subway Get Fit Challenge has finished up its second week and the weight loss contestants had their second weigh-in.
Joseph Grooms, who lost one and a half pounds last week, felt like he didn't do enough cardio and knew he had to pump it up. He also found the eating plan was also tough to handle.
"The hardest part is being dedicated to the meal plan," said Joseph.
Joseph has a little boy on the way. His wife is due to give birth in four months and he wants to be healthy for the baby and his wife and be able to fit in a plane seat to take him on trips. Joseph gets help four days a week from his trainer, Scott and his high school football buddy Lummie.
Scott Camoin says Joseph may have lost the least amount of weight last week but he's okay with that.
"I started him off slow. Better to start slow and gradually increase it," said Camoin.
Scott's plan apparently worked because when Joseph stepped on the scale, he lost another 6 and a half pounds for a total weight loss of 8 pounds.
It was a relief for Joseph, Lummie and Scott.
"I'm excited hard work pays off," said Joseph after the weigh in.
Next on the scale was TJ. Last week, he weighed 383 which was a 12 pound loss in the first week. This week he gained nine and a half pounds for a total weight loss of one and a half pounds.
Karen also had an up week. After losing 7 pounds the first week, she weighed in this week at 268.5 which was a gain of four and a half pounds. She's now lost a total of two and a half pounds.
Physicians Weight Loss Center in Pinecrest is monitoring the weight loss and stresses that TJ and Karen's weight gain is due to muscle weight.
All three contestants exercise with a trainer at Bally Total Fitness Center and with a nutritionist who placed all of them on a calorie-limited diet.
