While the Miami Heat spent most of the NBA Draft on the sidelines, the Heat did reel in a couple of draft picks before the night ended. The Heat traded for the rights to Patrick Beverley out of the University of Arkansas, and with the last pick of the second round, selected controversial University of Memphis forward Robert Dozier.
