Zo's Summer Groove Gets Star Power With D. Wade

Queen Latifah And Chris Tucker Are Among The Celebrities Lending Support

Alonzo "Zo" Mourning and Dwyane "Flash" Wade  host the Miccosukee Zo's Summer Groove for a five-day weekend offering something for everyone from youth basketball clinics, golf tournament, comedy jam, benefit dinner, youth summit, free block party, all-star basketball game, and numerous after-party functions, which runs through July 13th in Miami, Florida. 

Sponsored by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming, this nationally recognized event has become familiar to the South Florida community.  The summer grove program works to promote community involvement by encouraging event participants to enjoy a weekend of activities that ultimately benefits South Florida's most underserved children and families. 

"Dwyane's leadership and personal interest in helping young people develop their goals is aligned with the core of what Alonzo Mourning Charities does," said Mourning.  "I look forward to a successful partnership with him for many years to come as his presence will lend an additional boost to the program and our community-centered efforts."

Proceeds benefit Alonzo Mourning Charities and the Wade's World Foundation.
