Former Miami Heat star Antoine Walker faces criminal charges for running up $822,500 in gambling debts to three Las Vegas casinos. Walker, 32, has been charged with three counts of passing bad checks.
According to the Clark County district attorney's office, Walker allegedly wrote bad checks to Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, and the Red Rock Resort. Walker has repaid $178,000 of the debts which accumulated over a 6 month period.
Walker has played Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics and was on the 2006 NBA championship Miami Heat team.
