Jamaal Magloire Re-Signs With The Heat

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Reserve center Jamaal Magloire re-signed with the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Heat now have four centers under contract for the upcoming season. Center Joel Anthony re-signed on Monday and the Heat still have Jermaine O'Neal and Mark Blount.

Magloire had been an unrestricted free agent, but said all along he wanted to stay with the Heat and Dwyane Wade.

The former University of Kentucy star appeared in 55 games for Miami last season. He averaged 2.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. The nine-year veteran has career averages of 8.0 points, 6.9 rebounds per game.
