Scouting NBA Prospects Not An Easy Slam Dunk
Heat Head Coach Not Caught Up On All The Headlines
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
A day after being selected into basketball's Hall of Fame, Heat head coach Pat Riley gets back to work Tuesday night. With a loss to the Chicago Bulls, Riley and the Heat will be the top seed in the NBA's Draft Lottery.
Riley watched plenty of NCAA Tournament action, but he's not getting caught up on all the headlines some of the potential NBA Draft Lottery players made.
"There's no doubt that there's four of five guys that have illuminated their image, but when it comes down to making that pick there's a lot of criteria that goes into it", Riley said.
The Heat's head coach will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 5th, 2008.
"You can see there's a real camaraderie with the people and I can't wait till September the 5th because I think it'll be a great day for me my friends and family will all be there", the five time NBA Championship coach said.
