Miami Heat superstar Dwayne Wade has filed a $100 million lawsuit against a former business partner claiming the man made false statements about alleged drug use and called Wade a bully and coward.
One e-mail allegedly sent by Richard von Houtman was sent to former Heat coach Pat Riley claiming Wade and other players both smoked marijuana and used steroids.
Another e-mail allegedly asked Riley to pressure Wade to settle a lawsuit filed by Houtman over a failed restaurant. Wade's lawsuit claimed von Houtman's actions harmed Wade's reputation.
Von Houtman has not responded to e-mail and telephone requests by the Associated Press.
