| Brick and Mortar stores offer their bargains the day after Thanksgiving, a day known as 'Black Friday'. Online retailers often save their best deals for one day, or part of one day, the first Monday after Thanksgiving, in what's become known as 'Cyber Monday'.
The National Retail Federation has organized a website with more than 500 online retailers, which offers rebates and credits toward a scholarship fund for shoppers who begin their search at the site.
