Miami's Homeless Get A Makeover For 4th Of July

MIAMI (CBS4) ― The Miami Rescue Mission celebrated Independence Day on several of its South Florida campuses with at least 1,500-2,000 people receiving barbecue lunches.

The mission's three campuses located in Miami, Hollywood and Pompano had, music and entertainment. 

Its Miami campus had pony rides and a giant slide for children; Hollywood had a bounce house; and Pompano had an animal petting area.

Clothing, free healthcare screening, and activities were all part of the outreach program during the holiday.
