Children's Trust - Kaysie And Krystal

Kaysie and Krystal Are Looking For Loving Parents

Just Dial 211 On Your Phone To Contact The Children's Trust Hotline

MIAMI (CBS4) ― As part of CBS4's series on some very special children hoping to be adopted - Shannon Hori would like you to meet Kaysie and Krystal from the Children's Trust Miami Heart Gallery.

Eleven-year-old Krystal and eight-year-old Kaysie made lots of new friends at Miami Metrozoo, not only with the zoo's wildlife expert Ron Magill, but also with its animals.

Magill helped them feed some, "He's got a 14-inch tongue. Want to see?"

Krystal had lots of questions about the animals, and was a little more timid when it came to feeding them. She said, " I don't want to put my hand in there."

Kaysie jumped right in.  She was asked if she wanted to be involved with animals, and she nodded. She's considering a life of a veterinarian.

Krystal, on the other hand, had several possible careers she's considering: doctor, or maybe, designer.

At the zoo, the girls did get to play with a 500-pound tortoise named "Goliath" until its troublemaker came along.

Both sisters have smiles - with huge dimples - that can light up a room, and they want to be adopted together.

Parents in Miami Dade interested in adopting Kaysie or Krystal or any other child from The Children's Trust Miami Heart Gallery, please call The Children's Trust Helpline at 211 where specially trained Switchboard of Miami counselors are standing by, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in English, Spanish and Creole. In Broward, call (305) 631-4211.
