Children's Trust Heart Gallery - Christina

MIAMI (CBS4) ― As part of CBS4's series on some very special children hoping to be adopted - Erika Von Tiehl would like you to meet Christina from the Children's Trust Miami Heart Gallery.

Christina is 12 years old and loves cheerleaders.

So South Florida Greatest Cheerleaders – the Miami Dolphins' Cheerleaders - invited Christina and Erika to a practice to take in their moves and even get some advice on how to get a head with a pom pom - and in life.

"Work as hard as you possibly can, we fail all the time, we make mistakes, but they're okay, just keep picking up and trying your best and continue to do it," said one of the Dolphins cheerleaders.

"What do you want to be when you grow up," asked another cheerleader.

"A singer and a cheerleader," chimed in Christina.

Christina said she loves to dance and write poetry. After a couple of pictures with team, Christina got to rock the dance and learn some new moves.

In addition to the cheers, the squad sent Christina home with some great Dolphins swag including a sweatshirt that she couldn't wait to put on. Christina told Erika she hopes her new family has a little sister or brother.  She would love to teach them to sing and dance.

And when asked about her favorite subject in school, Christina confessed, "I like language arts mostly. I like art too. I forgot to tell the cheerleaders that."

When asked what kind of mom and dad she would like Christina responded, "I'm looking for a family that cares and will spoil me rotten."
