The Wait Ends For Housing Assistance In Hialeah

HIALEAH (CBS4) ― The Hialeah Housing Authority earlier this month accepted applications from people just wanting to be placed on a list for public housing, well, that ended on Saturday as officials announced those people accepted.

Application forms were given out earlier this month to people waiting on long lines, just wishing to be accepted for public housing.
 
The deadline for returning applications was July 10th, and earlier this morning a lottery was held to determine the ranking on the waiting list for each applicant.

It took place at at the Manuel Artime Performing Arts Center, 900 SW First St.
