This past hurricane season may have left South Floridians breathing a
sigh of relief, but officials at the National Hurricane Center are
already looking ahead to next year. The National Hurricane Center said Tuesday it will begin issuing
storm watches and warnings about half a day sooner in the biggest
change to its warning system in decades.
