  • Reviewed and entered into a database 10,425 inspection records for 1358 different day cares in South Florida from 2006 through 2008.

  •  Inspection Records posted on-line at website for Child Care at Florida Department of Children and Families. DCF updates its inspection records as new records become available. Therefore this data gathering is a snapshot of publicly released inspection records as of October 17, 2008.

  • Entered and reviewed 7,700 inspection records by Florida DCF for 954 different day cares in Miami-Dade County

  • Found 133 different day cares in Miami-Dade County with zero (0) "Noncompliances", in other words, perfect records

  • Found 475 different day cares in Miami-Dade County with 5 or fewer "Noncompliances" in the two years we reviewed

  • Found 684 different day cares in Miami-Dade County with 10 or fewer "Noncompliances" in the two years we reviewed

  • Found 92 different day cares in Miami-Dade County with 20 or MORE "Noncompliances"
