Broadcast Audio Operations Technician (Full Time)
WFOR has a full time job opening for a Broadcast Operations Technician to perform primary audio for live broadcast productions of local newscast and recorded programs. Operator needs at least 2 years experience in highly fast pace and under pressure audio work. Experience with live phone in, live remotes, patching and other normal audio duties necessary to ensure a quality broadcast program. Weekend morning mainly, but must be open to any other shift when required.
Requirements:
Applicant should be well versed in computer terminology and applications have experience in broadcast operations and preferably have completed two years of college or technical school. Candidate must be focused, be able to react quickly to situations as they arise, and take initiative to solve problems with the goal of maintaining highest air quality.

NEWS PHOTOJOURNALIST/EDITOR
CBS 4/WFOR-TV in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market #16, is looking for a highly motivated photojournalist with great storytelling skills to work in this very competitive and fast paced market.
Requirements :
The ideal candidate must have the ability to use of powerful images, compelling sound and effective lighting to make every story a potential award winning one. The ability to make live shots really come alive is also a must!
CBS4 News will soon be making the conversion from Panasonic DVCPRO to a new digital HD format. Therefore are looking for a candidate with knowledge of both linear and non-linear editing. Experience editing with Final Cut Pro, FTP and posting video on the web is a plus.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in television news photography. A college degree is preferred. Experience operating ENG microwave truck is a must, along with a valid driver's license and a good driving record. This individual must be a team player and work well with other in sometimes stressful environments. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is also required.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NON-EXEMPT
Description:
CBS4 WFOR-TV in Miami has an opening for a full time engineer with a communications systems background working the night shift 3:30 pm to midnight. Engineer will assist the WFOR Engineering Department's transformation to digital television. The ideal candidate will be able to instruct and direct personnel as well as demonstrate good writing and communications skills.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a strong engineering background and possess a general knowledge of RF, audio and video systems. Candidate must have excellent project management skills, including design, documentation and system integration. Experience in troubleshooting circuits to a component level is necessary. Panasonic DVC Pro system experience is an advantage.
