$350,000 Reward Being Offered For Information That Leads To The Killer

BOCA RATON (CBS4) ― Police are investigating whether the same man is responsible for three crimes at shopping malls in Boca Raton, including a double homicide.

There was a double murder outside the Town Center Mall in December when someone killed Nancy Bochicchio, 47, and her 7-year-old daughter, Joey Bochicchio-Hauser. The mother and daughter were robbed, bound and then shot to death in their SUV Dec. 12, during the height of the holiday shopping season.

Investigators have speculated that the killer may be the same person who robbed and bound a mother and 2-year-old son at gunpoint in their SUV in the mall parking lot Aug. 7. They were not shot.

A third woman was robbed at Mizner Park in August and police think all of the cases are similar.

In the Mizner Park incident, a woman was robbed near her vehicle in a parking lot.

Police are not saying why they think the crimes are connected, but they did say they were committed in a similar fashion.

Police also say that they're looking at past robberies in Palm Beach and Broward counties, including more than 75 cases in Boca Raton last year, looking for other similar crimes.
