Bomb sniffing dogs went bag by bag, checking for explosives before they were put back in an American Airlines flight destined for Miami.

Security officials unloaded and rechecked each luggage piece aboard an American Airlines flight headed to Miami from Boston after a bomb scare broke out Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities found nothing suspicious on the plane that was emptied and moved to an isolated area at Logan International Airport after a written bomb threat was found on board.
While bomb dogs sniffed away at every piece of luggage from American Airlines Flight 1318 at Boston Logan International Airport, the plane's passengers sat in airport terminal watching, and wondering.
"All they said was a security threat, we didn't know exactly what it was but they said a security threat," passenger B.Y. Chin told
CBS 4 News Reporter Natalia Zea.
Phil Orlandella, a spokesman for airport operator Massport, said the plane was given the all-clear around 4 p.m.
Some passengers, like Miami-native Enrique Melendez grew angry with the lack of information.
"They should also tell people what's actually going on, they sweep everything under the carpet; everybody's sitting there like an idiot for three hours," said Melendez.
Most of the passengers found out from CNN monitors inside the terminal that there had been a bomb threat made against their flight. A note had been found inside one of the plane's bathrooms, stating there was a bomb on board. Several passengers who had already boarded were rushed off the plane, and the rest stayed in the terminal.
Leo Otterbein said, "We saw them drag the plane away with 9,000 security trucks, and security guards, state police, everything was there with the lights and everything else."
The plane arrived from Dallas at about 1:45 p.m. and was scheduled to head to Miami about a half hour later. During the preboarding process, a flight attendant found "Bomb on board, Boston-Miami" scrawled on in the bathroom.
August Manna told
Zea, "Frustration was there, but nobody was really worried, we weren't scared or nothing. We saw them take the plane away and bring another plane."
Passengers were brought to MIA on a different plane and arrived at 8:55 pm, about 3 hours late.
This is very similar to a previous incident involving a Miami-related flight. On September 17 a flight had to be brought back to MIA, shortly after taking off to Boston, when another bomb threat note was found in that plane's bathroom.
