Police Dig Up Yard In Search For Missing Toddler

2-Year Old Caylee Anthony Hasn't Been Seen In More Than A Month

Mother Charged With Child Neglect & Providing False Information To Police

ORLANDO (CBS4) ― Orange County Sheriff's authorities are digging through a woman's backyard in an attempt to find clues into the disappearance of her 2-year-old granddaughter.

Investigators brought in cadaver dogs and tools Friday to search the backyard of Caylee Marie Anthony's grandparents.

On July 15th, Caylee's grandparents reported their granddaughter missing after confronting their daughter regarding Caylee's whereabouts and discovered she had not been seen for more than a month.

The grandparents contacted authorities who arrested Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, on Wednesday.

Casey Anthony told investigators she dropped Caylee off with a babysitter in an Orlando apartment complex on June 9. Authorities have been unable to locate that woman, or verify just about anything else Anthony told them.

A neighbor has also told authorities that Casey borrowed a shovel a month ago, around the time of the girl's disappearance.

Anthony is charged with child neglect and providing false information to law enforcement. She's being held without bond.

Here's a MySpace page devoted to the search for Caylee Anthony.
