Creeping Criminal Caught On Camera

Homeowner Had Installed Hi-Tech Surveillance Equipment

She'd Been Burglarized In The Past

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBS4) ― BSO investigators would like the public to help identify a creeping criminal who was caught on camera searching for something to steal inside a Deerfield Beach home.

BSO has released excellent quality surveillance video of a burglar inside the home of 55-year old Barbara Sutton.

Sutton, whose home has been burglarized before, installed hi-tech surveillance equipment and it caught this criminal in action the afternoon of September 16th, when he broke in and began wandering through the house.

The video shows a goateed man wearing a Kentucky ball cap, t-shirt, baggy shorts and white, rubber gloves. He walks slowly, seemingly careful not to touch anything, and occasionally lowers his sunglasses to look around. After several minutes, he tucks a laptop computer under his arm and walks out.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call BSO Det. Robert Feick at (954) 571.4597 or report it anonymously to Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
