Praise The Lord, A Pastor Hands Out Gas Vouchers
Pastor Hands Out Free Gas Vouchers Ranging From $5 To $50 This Weekend
NORTH LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ―
With pump prices hovering around four dollars a gallon, drivers were greeted by a Broward pastor on Friday who gave away gas vouchers if only to fill people's tanks a tad.
People's prayers will again be answered again on Saturday.
Dennis Grant, who is the pastor of A Place of Restoration, offered the first 1,000 drivers with vouchers for free gas at a 7-Eleven gas station at 955 SW 81st Ave. in North Lauderdale on Saturday, and again on Sunday.
He told
CBS4 Reporter Ted Scouten, "We just want to reach out to the community, no questions asked. We don't care who you are, black, white yellow, rich, or poor. We just want to reach out, say we are here, we want to help."
