Cold Weather Causes Doral Flooding

DORAL (CBS4) ― In Doral, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews and workers with the Water Department spent much of Friday cleaning up quite a mess.

A water main broke at 10680 NW 41st St, shortly after 8:00 a.m. Water gushed from the ground in the parking lot behind the Bruschetta and Co. restaurant.

The restaurant parking lot and surrounding area was completely flooded. Cars waded through all the water, but traffic and water service was not affected.

Crews say they're not positive, but the cold weather may have played a factor in the break.
