Temporary Tattoos Designed To Protect
They're Called Eyedentity Labels
Created By A South Florida Mother
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
You may think temporary tattoos are just for fun, but a South Florida mother has created a way for temporary tattoos to be used to help keep children, and even the elderly, safe.
Zephora Haddon is the creator of the Eyedentity Label and she talked about the tattoos on
The Jim and Jade Show Tuesday morning.
Eyedentity Labels are brightly colored temporary tattoos, about 2 x 2, with personal data imprinted on it.
For a young child, the information could be the child's first name and a contact phone number, in case the child gets lost in a crowded mall or anywhere else. If you're on vacation, the tattoo could have the child's first name, cell phone number and hotel information. Children on field trips can wear the labels with their school name and contact information.
The labels can also contain medical information, like certain allergies to food or medicine. The labels don't have to be used for just children. They can also be used for adults with Alzheimer's.
The tattoos can be worn under clothing and should be placed out of sight if ordered with a child's name. They are easy to apply, waterproof, last up to 7 days, easy to remove and not harmful to the skin, according to the company's website.
No matter what the circumstances, Eyedentity Labels provide a voice for those who may be unable to share vital information in an emergency situation.
