Police Asking For Help In Finding Daycare Robber

Police are looking for the hooded man in this video for robbing Farah's Daycare in NE Miami-Dade.

Miami Dade police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who walked into a 24-hour daycare center in northeast part of the county on Monday and robbed a secretary in its office while children were in the other room.
Thanks to very clear surveillance cameras, the owner of Farah's Angels daycare is confident police will catch him. The man came in wearing a hooded sweater.
The robber made no move toward the rooms where children were playing. He stayed in the office and went right for what was in the secretary's purse and the $600 inside the front desk.
The owner of the daycare, Farah Juste, said the robber had just one thing on his mind – cash.
"He came inside, he pulled a gun, and went directly to the drawer where the money was, he took the envelope and left" said Juste. "He knew exactly where the money was, all he did was show the gun and went and got the money and left."
Juste believes it was a neighborhood teenager. She says in the 25 years she's run the business, she's never seen a crime like this.
"After 25 years, something like that happen. This is a wake-up call."
A neighbor got a license plate number for the robber's getaway car. Police are hopeful with this information and the video they will have a suspect in custody soon.
Juste has implemented some new security measures and plans to install a buzzer system so that the door will remain locked until daycare workers choose to let someone in.
